Behind the application
Applications store user information
and other data on your computer. Universal SQL Tools is no different.
Where are a couple of directories and files that the application created on
your drive. The path is defined by the user's home directory which becomes
the "root" for the application during the first execution. All the files
taht the application creates are stored in: <user_home>/.jmonkey/export/.
- The applications registry file is stored in: */registry/{class
name}.jmr The application registry should not be edited by hand,
though it is possible to do so in an emergency.
- History files are stored in:
*/data/usqltool/history/<{history id}.hist> The history lists are
NOT editable. If you do you will have to delete the files and the
registry to get the application working properly again.
- The recent files list is also stored in the data directory and will be
called recent.list The recent files list is NOT editable. If
you do you will have to delete the file "recent.list" to get the
application working properly again.
- The JDBC Drivers the application uses are also stored in the data directory.
The path would be: <data>/usqltool/jdbc_drivers/ All the drivers the
application uses are stored in this directory. You can change the location
of the directory in the options dialog on Files & Directories options
dialog tab.
The registry classes are
designed to be common to all Universal applications and other
Universal applications will store their registries in this
directory.
